Sleeping Positions

Jun 11, 2020

Do you wake up with a headache, neck or lower back discomfort? Wondering why?
Well, your sleeping positions could be why. Laying on your stomach forces you to turn your head in one direction for a long period of time, which leads to neck pain. Not only this, but it alters the natural curve of your spine. When your body is not in a proper sleeping position, it causes you to wake up and directly affects your sleep cycle.

Sleeping on your sides or your back are going to be the best options for your body and a better nights sleep. Use a pillow approximately the width of your shoulder, that supports your neck when sleeping on your side.

Wishing everyone an even better nights sleep! Always remember, no one has your back like your chiropractor.
